Beginner levelA1 learning content for everyday Arabic.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to Learn Arabic A1, the Android app also known as Practical Everyday Arabic and PE Arabic, and its product pages and associated Arabic learning articles. Araqick provides the app and content. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Araqick as the provider of Learn Arabic A1.
By using the app or these product pages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. Other Araqick apps may have separate terms.
If you are a minor, use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision where required, especially when using external services or contacting support.
2. Learning content and the A1 level
Learn Arabic A1 provides short lessons, everyday vocabulary, simple sentences, and practice activities for beginner Arabic learners. “A1” describes the intended beginner level of the learning content.
The app is a learning resource. It does not award an accredited qualification, provide an official language examination, or guarantee a particular proficiency level or learning result. Learners may need additional study and practice to meet a specific course, examination, or certification requirement.
We aim to provide useful, accurate content. Examples, explanations, pronunciation, and translations may be simplified for beginners, and content may be corrected or revised. Please report an issue if you notice an error.
3. Free access, downloads, and updates
The current app is free, contains no advertisements, and does not require an account, subscription, or in-app purchase.
Lessons can be used offline when the required content is installed. Additional audio and images, when available, may need to be downloaded through Google Play. Downloads and app updates require suitable network access, device storage, and service availability. Your network provider may charge for data.
Features and content availability may vary by app version, device, and installed media. Missing media may use a fallback or placeholder. Updates may improve the app or change content; no particular feature, download, or device compatibility is guaranteed indefinitely.
4. Local progress and settings
Your lesson progress, stars, preferences, and daily app-use information are stored on your device. The app does not provide an account-based cloud backup or progress synchronisation service.
Resetting local progress, clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, or changing devices may remove your records. The “Reset local progress” setting clears completed lessons, stars, and session-completion records and returns to the first section. Preferences, today’s app-use information, and downloaded media are kept. The app is configured to exclude its local data from Android backups and device-transfer backups.
Please consider these effects before resetting or removing the app. We cannot recover a cloud copy of records that the app stores only on your device.
5. Permitted use and content ownership
You may use the app and website content for your own personal learning, subject to these terms and applicable law. The app, branding, original explanations, illustrations, audio, and other materials belong to Araqick or their respective rights holders. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licences.
Unless an applicable licence or law permits it, you must not:
Copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit the app or substantial parts of its content without permission.
Misrepresent the content as your own or remove ownership and attribution notices.
Interfere with the website or app, attempt unauthorised access, or circumvent security controls.
Use support channels to send unlawful, abusive, or harmful material.
These restrictions do not limit rights that applicable law gives you. For classroom, publishing, or other reuse requests, contact us.
6. External services and support
Google Play handles app distribution, available lesson-media delivery, updates, and public store reviews under its own terms. Email, social media, and other linked services are operated by their respective providers.
Opening an external service or sharing content is your choice. Review the destination’s terms and privacy practices. We do not control third-party services or guarantee their availability.
Support and bug reports are optional. The report feature prepares an email draft for you to review and send. Only include information needed to explain the issue; optional diagnostics can be removed before sending.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains local information storage, optional support emails, website requests, Google Play services, and your removal choices. Please read it alongside these terms.
8. Availability and legal rights
We aim to keep Learn Arabic A1 useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or a specific educational result. We may maintain, revise, or discontinue features or content, subject to any obligations imposed by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without additional warranties, and Araqick is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Learn Arabic A1 develops. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the app or relevant product pages where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively and remain subject to applicable law.
If you have questions or concerns, contact us so we can work towards a resolution.
